On Sunday, November 25, the members of the Lebanon Fire Company, along with our partner companies in the North Hunterdon Fire Alliance had the opportunity to host a Parade for Declan.
Declan is a 2 year old Clinton Township resident who has been battling Acute Myloid Leukemia. The membership learned of Declan and in particular his love of fire trucks. Word went out in the fire community and on Sunday, 91 fire companies from around NJ and PA showed up in Lebanon with 159 fire trucks, ambulances and police cars to show Declan that he has the support of the entire fire fighting, EMS, and police communities.
The parade was accompanied by a toy drive for the Tomorrows Children’s Fund, located at Hackensack University Medical Center.
