Situated in the valley just north of the Round Valley Reservoir, The Lebanon Fire Company provides fire protection for the Borough of Lebanon, the eastern section of Clinton Township, and the southwestern portion of Tewksbury Township. The response area is a mix of Industrial, Commercial, Residential, farmland, state and interstate highway and passenger and freight rail lines.
The Lebanon Fire Company runs 1 Ladder Company, 1 Engine Company, 1 Squad Company and 1 Brush Unit out of a single station located on Main Street in Lebanon Borough, NJ. The Lebanon Fire Company (Station 18) also runs R.I.T. for portions of the county and is a member of the North Hunterdon Fire Alliance.
The Fire Company utilizes the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and uses the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) standards for our operations, equipment, training and safety. We are also under PEOSHA guidelines in New Jersey. The Fire Company has been submitting Incident Reports under the National Incident Fire Reporting System (NIFRS) since 1990, ID #10180.
In Lebanon Borough all Fire Inspections and Investigations are conducted by the Clinton Township Bureau of Fire Safety with assistance from the NJ State Police and Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office if needed.
Lebanon Borough Fire Company is committed to serving the community with the highest degree of professionalism. The fire company operates out of one station located on Main Street in Lebanon and is 100% volunteer. We currently have approximately 45 members in the department.
